Premkumar Thirugnanam holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science with specialization in Thin Film Coatings and Surface Analysis. He has innovated new material processing approaches to develop novel nanostructured thin films. He is passionate about studying material characteristics at atomic levels. Premkumar's interests include troubleshooting materials-related product development issues and meeting customer needs.

Premkumar met Andy at one of the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum's events in Pittsburgh, PA.
